Zhurov Evgeny Pavlovich

Born in 1957 in Donskoy, Tula Oblast.
1980 — Graduated from the Moscow Art School “In memory of 1905.”
1992 — Graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute (workshop of Prof. V. N. Zabelin).
Associate Professor at the Surikov Institute (Department of Painting; drawing). Member of the Church Art Commission.
Honored Artist of Russia. Awarded the Gold Medal at the 8th International Festival of Painting and Sculpture in Tunisia for the work “Tunisian Bazaar” (2010).
Works are in museums in Russia and in private collections in Finland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, England, Mexico, Japan and the USA. Tragically died at the age of 65.
