Glukhov Vladimir Ivanovich
Born on 22 April 1961 in Dushanbe.
1981 — Graduated from the Dushanbe Art College named after M. Olimov.
1998 — Graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute.
Worked in the traditions of French modernism, impressionism, fauvism and the Russian avant‑garde of the 1920s.
Considered a bright representative of the Russian avant‑garde. Held more than 30 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In 2017 the Museum of Russian Art in New Jersey (USA) hosted his solo exhibition.
His works are held in museums of Dushanbe, Moscow and Tyumen, and in private collections in Russia and Europe.
In recent years he lived and worked in Tyumen.
